Originally from the U.K., Wendy is an actor who now lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Having been first introduced to the world of film only after retiring from her teaching career, she considers herself to be somewhat of a late bloomer. However, she has made up for lost time by participating in acting workshops and appearing in short films, web series, a promotional video, and commercials.
She is also no stranger to acting, her first experience coming at the age of six when she appeared as a bird in the pantomime Babes in The Wood, "flying" onto the stage with beak pointing skyward much to the amusement of the audience. Undeterred, she continued to play roles in pantomime throughout her youth and was later active in community theatre. Unfortunately, moving around a lot as a navy wife and earning two degrees while raising a family along with a teaching career allowed her little opportunity to pursue her interest in acting. She is happy that she now has the time to do so!
